Later this year we will begin a year of celebrations to mark 40 years since the Scout Group was reformed in 1981.
As part of our activities, we’d like to collect the memories and recollections of current and former members alike. Did you attend a Scout Camp at Ellerburn or Hag Dyke in the 1980s? Was your first Pack Holiday at 1st or 40th Scarborough? Were you a 1st Holgate Venture Scout? Were you one of the first Beavers at Holgate and sported the old grey jogging suit? Did you attend one of our legendary Dad’s and Lads camps or FamJams?
Whatever your story, we’d love to add it to our collection, so we can share them and reminisce about all the great times this amazing Scout Group has delivered for 40 years.
We’d also like to hear from anyone who was involved in the old 1st Holgate back in the fifties and sixties.
